App4Enland would like to send it’s congratulations to Learning Curve.
After a successful beginning to 2017 with two award wins, Investors in People Gold standard and Large Training Provider of the Year at the Apprenticeships4England Awards, we are proud to announce that our hard work has again been recognised as we have been shortlisted for another 2 awards!
Following last year’s double achievement where we won ‘Education Business of the Year’ and ‘Further/Vocational Provider’, our efforts in training have again been recognised by the Education Investor Awards, as we are finalists for ‘Grand Prix Education Provider of the Year’ and ‘Skills Provider of the Year’.
LCG’s CEO, Brenda Mcleish, said: “We are looking forward to attending this prestigious ceremony, as it is great to see the high-quality work of those in the industry and the employees of LCG recognised. We were overwhelmed to have won last year and are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for 2 categories this year, especially when I see the high calibre of other companies involved. It would be great to add these awards to our growing collection!”
LCG has been shortlisted due to the expansion of our Apprenticeship Academies, the development of 5 new vocational qualifications and the support we are giving large employers to utilise the Apprenticeship Levy.
LCG is through to the final stages of 3 awards at the National Apprenticeship Awards 2017!
Learning Curve Group (LCG) is delighted to announce that we are through to the final stages of 3 different awards at the National Apprenticeship Awards 2017. This fantastic news has come shortly after the announcement of our shortlisting for ‘Grand Prix Education Provider of the Year’ and ‘Skills Provider of the Year’ at the Education Investor Awards 2017.
We are extremely proud of our employees, Aaron Peel, who has been finalised for ‘Apprentice of the Year’ and Business Development Manager, Angela Thompson who is shortlisted to be ‘Apprenticeship Champion of the Year’, as well as recognition for LCG as a whole with our shortlisting for ‘Employer of the Year’.
The National Apprenticeship Awards search for the England’s top apprenticeship employers and apprentices, whilst recognising those individuals that make a significant contribution to apprenticeships.
Learner Find Agent, Aaron, has been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year award after demonstrating how his Business Administration apprenticeship and role in our busy Call Centre team has helped grow his confidence and his skills, as well as proving a success to the business as he consistently hits and exceeds his sales targets.
The Apprenticeship Champion of the Year is to recognise individuals who have made significant contribution and who go above and beyond to champion apprenticeships, such as providing guidance to employers and learners. This is evident in Business Development Manager Angela’s commitment to apprenticeships, as she regularly makes workplace visits to learners and attends various events to help inspire learners and employers by explaining the benefits apprenticeships bring.
Employer of the year is a top accolade for the hard work and investment that employers have committed to apprenticeships. LCG is a prime example of this through our fast-growing apprenticeship provision, the 9 new standards we have introduced in 2017 and the 14 apprentices we currently have employed.
CEO, Brenda Mcleish said: “I am extremely proud of the commitment and dedication that the staff here at LCG have for our apprenticeship delivery and it is shown through how much we have achieved over the last year with our new standards, academies and levy support. We were honoured to win ‘Large Training Provider of the Year’ at the Apprenticeships4England awards earlier this year, so to win these awards would make 2017 one of our most successful years yet.”
